This notice explains how AIF Alpha Fund AD processes personal data in connection with this website and with correspondence relating to data-room access, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Bulgarian data-protection law.

Technical server logs maintained by our hosting provider.
Purposes and legal bases
Responding to enquiries and processing data-room access requests — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps at your request prior to entering into a contract);
Verifying eligibility and complying with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer requirements where onboarding proceeds — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR;
Website security, record-keeping and the establishment or defence of legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
Recipients
Data may be shared with service providers acting as processors on our documented instructions — hosting and IT providers, and the operator of the Fund’s data room — and with competent authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers
Personal data is processed within the European Economic Area. Should a transfer to a third country become necessary, it will take place only subject to appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.
Retention
Correspondence and attestation records are retained for five years from the conclusion of the relevant interaction, or for such longer period as the law requires, and are then deleted.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and — where processing is based on consent — the right to withdraw consent at any time with future effect. Requests may be addressed to the contacts above.
Supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Bulgaria (CPDP), Sofia — www.cpdp.bg — or with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party tracking technologies. Webfonts are served from the Fund's own infrastructure; no font requests are made to third parties.
